We show that there are marked differences in the crystallization of single ring polymers in comparison to single linear polymers. Langevin dynamics is a powerful tool to study these systems because they present a stochastic process due to collisions between their constituents. simulation is unstable for time-steps above about = 0.004. We can, however, run a Langevin dynamics simulation with a friction = 1.0 stably with a time-step as large as = 0.01 or even higher.
